STEVE POTTER, Director

As a Director, Steve brings expertise in the disciplines of planning, economic development and urban regeneration. He is a full professional Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

He has worked on a wide range of high profile master-planning and area regeneration commissions delivered on behalf of English Partnerships, various Regional Development Agencies, Local Authorities, URCs, NDCs and SRB Partnerships, British Waterways, Defence Estates and private sector clients. These include masterplans and regeneration frameworks in Liverpool, Manchester, Northwich, Bradford, Stoke, Manchester and Widnes.

He has also prepared economic and employment land strategies for the North West and Yorkshire & Humber Regions, and Greater Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield city regions

Steve has worked on a diverse range of strategic studies and policy reviews, including the preparation of a Sustainable Construction Strategy for Yorkshire Forward, a review of Affordable Housing Policy for the Peak District National Park, and Sub-Regional Housing Strategies for North Staffordshire

In addition to his consultancy experience, Steve spent 18 months as a Senior Development Planner for Manchester Millennium Ltd – the Taskforce which oversaw the redevelopment of the City Centre following the 1996 IRA bomb – and is a member of CABE’s national enabling panel.
