TIM ALLAN, Associate Director
Tim joined the company in July 2007 from York Consulting. He has extensive project management and delivery experience across a range of public sector clients including DfES, LSC (national and regional), QIA, ODPM and RDAs.
Tim’s specialisms are in learning and skills and education. He scoped and managed the national evaluations of the Key Stage 4 Engagement Programme for DfES and the Young Apprenticeships Programme for the national LSC and recently undertook a review of excellence rewards in FE for the QIA. He also led a study exploring the drivers behind performance improvements in FE colleges for DfES.
Tim has strong skills in quantitative research and is familiar with analysing large educational datasets such as the National Pupil Database and the Individual Learner Record. He also has considerable experience of qualitative research, including one-to-one interviewing, focus group facilitation and questionnaire design.
