DAVID, IN OUR GLASGOW OFFICE

With this being my first ‘proper’ job after graduating I wasn’t quite sure what to expect on my first day as a Research Consultant in the Glasgow office. Luckily for me all the staff have been very welcoming and always take the time out of their busy schedule to help me learn the ropes.

So far, I have been involved in numerous projects including an evaluation of the Clyde Waterfront Regeneration Initiative and a diagnostic audit of labour market information. Within these projects I have been asked to consult with stakeholders, analyse data and generally perform research for the rest of the team as and when they need it.

It’s a fast paced environment where you often have to juggle several projects at a time, combining this with the responsibility you’re given and the deadlines you have to hit it can certainly be very demanding. But being busy makes the day go faster and makes half 4 Fridays in the Pub all the more rewarding!
