MONICA, IN OUR GLASGOW OFFICE

Since joining the company earlier this year in April 2010, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect on my first day as a Research Consultant in the Glasgow office. Luckily for me all the staff have been very welcoming and my induction programme helped me get to grips with how the company's way of working.

So far, I have been involved in numerous projects including an evaluation of the Big Noise Youth Orchestra and Developing a Map of Needs for the Equality and Human rights Commission. Within these projects I have been asked to consult with stakeholders, analyse survey data and generally perform research for the rest of the team as and when they need it.

It’s a fast paced environment where you often have to juggle several projects at a time, combining this with the responsibility you’re given and the deadlines you have to hit it can certainly be very demanding. I also find it challenging in a positive way to be now servicing the types of clients that I have previously worked for - the Scottish Government and various Third Sector organisations.
