Ardwick Local Plan

The Brief: To actively participate in the team tasked with preparing a holistic regeneration strategy for Ardwick – an inner neighbourhood adjoining the heart of Manchester City Centre, university and hospital campuses and the BBC studios on Oxford Road.

Despite unprecedented levels of physical development and regeneration in adjoining areas, the infrastructure of Ardwick is still in need of significant investment and the resident community continues to exhibit high levels of deprivation. We have played a critical role in the preparation of the Ardwick Local Plan – focusing particularly on the delivery of social inclusion, health, crime and education programmes alongside the renewal of the neighbourhood.
