West Midlands Objective 2 Economic Appraisals: Government Office for the West

The Brief: Perform a comprehensive economic appraisal of more than 100 Objective 2 projects. Each project was covered in depth with emphasis on impact, added value, deliverability and complementarity.

Priority 2 of the West Midlands Objective 2 programme seeks to create substantial employment opportunities in a number of strategic locations. We undertook the economic appraisal of more than 100 Priority 2 projects, covering site infrastructure and premises, business premises, visitor and cultural attractions and environmental initiatives as part of a call-off contract. Key projects appraised included The PUBLIC in the West Midlands, the redevelopment of the former MG Rover site at Longbridge and Malvern Hills Science Park.
