Evaluation of Careers Scotland’s Enhanced Careers Pilot Programme
The Brief: To conduct an ex-ante evaluation of a pilot Careers Service provision aimed at improving post school destinations of young people at risk of becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET).
The Careers Scotland Enhanced Resource Pilot is an offering of enhanced Careers Scotland support made available to selected schools in seven Scottish local authority areas where young people not in education, employment and training (NEET) is viewed as a particular challenge and where reducing NEET locally would make an impact at a national level. We have been commissioned by the Scottish Executive to conduct a 2 year ex-ante evaluation to determine which of the elements or models used locally best promote the overall aim of improving post school destinations among those identified as at risk of becoming NEET.
