The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales appointed us to evaluate phase 2 of the Graduate Opportunities in Wales Programme. The Programme is a partnership of Higher Education Institutions in Wales, managed by HEFCW and funded by the Welsh Assembly Government/ESF. The study involved reviewing existing client feedback from beneficiaries of the programme as well as developing, administering and analysing a series of questionnaires and telephone interviews. In addition, the views of key stakeholders were sought. This study was produced to help the Council to: understand which parts of the programme have been successful and why; measure the impact of the GO Wales Programme on company and individual beneficiaries; and identify possible areas for improvement in future GO Wales Programmes. The research findings will be used to inform subsequent phases of the Programme.
