Evaluation of Skills North East RSP
We were commissioned by ONE North East and Skills North East to undertake an evaluation of the regional skills partnership (Skills North East). The project attracted interest as it was understood to be the first evaluation of the impact of an RSP. The study was in two parts: the first stage was a review of the effectiveness of the RSP’s management team to inform the decision on whether to continue funding this team at the end of their three year period. The second stage was a wider impact evaluation of the overall RSP including comparison with three other RSPs in North West, South East and West Midlands. As a result of this evaluation we were invited to co-present on methodological approach and issues such as Strategic Added Value (SAV) at a regional Evaluation Society event.
