A Tale of Two Cities

The economies of Manchester and Sheffield have undergone a major transformation in the past decade or so. We are currently undertaking a major study on behalf of Sheffield and Manchester City Councils looking at the economic linkages between the 2 Cities and where potential collaboration could deliver mutual benefits. The assigment is examining a number of areas including transport, creative and digital industries, and universities and the knowledge economy. The final report is due to be considered in September.
