Doncaster Economic Development Strategy, Doncaster MBC
We have been commissioned by Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council to produce a powerful, evidence based economic strategy to assist them in achieving their long-term vision and aim to become a thriving European city. DMBC anticipates that by "2025 Doncaster will be acknowledged as a city of significance in the country and in Europe.....this will be based on the recognised advantage of its strategic location, enhanced by its international transport infrastructure".

The work involves distilling the fundamental success factors of successful European cities and benchmarking the economic performance of Doncaster against EU and domestic comparators. The team will also be assessing how far the major interventions that are already in place in Doncaster will contribute towards its vision. This is a challenging assignment that will need to be objective in its perspective, secure widespread support and be pragmatic in its approach.
